CC Africa and the owners of the five star Londolozi Game Lodge, which is situated in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve Kruger National Park in South Africa, wish to announce that they have reached agreement that the management of Londolozi will revert to the owners with effect March 2007.

This is despite best endeavours by both parties to agree commercial terms for the ongoing CC Africa management of Londolozi.CC Africa will continue to accept reservations for Londolozi post March 2007, until suppliers have been informed of a change in procedure.CC Africa has been very proud of its association with Londolozi and has thoroughly enjoyed its custodianship of the Londolozi brand for the past years. It is anticipated that there will be an ongoing positive working relationship between the parties and CC Africa wishes Londolozi - and all its stakeholders - the very best future possible.

The five star Phinda Game Lodge is situated in the game rich Phinda Game Reserve in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.

Shotton Game Ranch (belonging to Edith Cunningham) has been incorporated into the Phinda Private Game Reserve. The 1,000ha property was formerly a part of neighboring 'Lulubush'. The incorporation of this land is of great conservation significance as the Munyawana River, which flows through Phinda and is an important source of fresh water for Lake St. Lucia, is now fully protected as well as the floodplain at the confluence of the Munyawana and Mzinene Rivers. Shotton is incredibly diverse for its size - riverine vegetation, acacia woodland, broadleaf woodland, Sand Forest, palm veld and floodplains are all present. The additional land will provide great game viewing opportunities as it will no doubt be well utilized by black and white rhino, elephant and buffalo. Leopard is frequently encountered along the Munyawana River.

Face lift for new lodge: Little Bush Camp

Water levels did nothing to dampen the excitement of taking over Little Bush Camp on 1st March. Sabi Sabi took a couple of weeks to complete extensive cosmetic work on the lodge before the first guests were welcomed.

The changes to the lodge have resulted in a warm, contemporary look and feel, reminiscent of Bush Lodge. Rich colours and textures have been added to the intimate lounge and dining area, and the suites have all been upgraded with new soft furnishings. The refurbishment programme is an ongoing process that will continue over the next couple of years at the Sabi Sabi Game Lodge.

Top model visits Earth Lodge at the Sabi Sabi Game Lodge

Top UK model, Caprice rounded off her South African visit with a much-needed break at Earth Lodge at the Sabi Sabi Game Lodge, Kruger National Park / South Africa. Enjoying the clear skies and warm weather, Caprice was treated to the awesome and unusual sight of a pride of lions stalking and killing a fully grown kudu bull in broad daylight! She also saw lots other game - big and small - during her visit.

In March, the five star Sabi Sabi Game Lodge which is situated in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve in the Kruger National Park, was awarded its third consecutive (and fifth in total) ASATA / Diners Club Award for Best Game Lodge in southern Africa.

Sales and marketing area manager of the Sabi Sabi Game Lodge, Jerry Khalo, travelled to Mumbai, India last month to accept the award for Sabi Sabi. The awards recognise consistent excellence in the travel industry.
