Access to the Central Kalahari Game Lodge, Botswana
The charter flight from Maun to the Lodge takes about 35 minutes.
Self-drive is possible for guests, however a 4x4 is required.
Serviced by the game lodge's own airstrip, all charter companies are allowed to land.

The Central Kalahari Game Lodge is situated on the northern boundary of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in Botswana, Southern Africa, next to the Deception Valley Lodge. This particular region of Botswana features the typical Central Kalahari landscape with the Deception Valley passing through the property of the lodge for some 14 kilometres. Wildlife is especially abundant partly due to the vegetation and the abundance of artificial waterholes, which surround the Central Kalahari Game Lodge. The Lodge is located in the Central Kalahari on private area covering about 30 000 ha. This area offers a different scenery and unique wildlife compared to the rest of Botswana.
The Central Kalahari Game Lodge in Botswana offers the most spectacular panoramic views over the Central Kalahari. The main building of the lodge consists of an open plan lounge, a bar, a dining area and a boma area. The observation deck at the Lodge provides guests with an excellent view of the waterhole, which is visited by wildlife.

Accommodation
The Central Kalahari Game Lodge accommodates 14 guests in comfortable semi-detached chalets, each of which is equipped with a lounge, a bedroom and an en-suite bathroom.
Activities
The activities, which are offered to guests staying at the lodge, are conducted by a professional guide and a tracker. The trackers in Botswana are all San bushmen who are without doubt the best trackers in the world. Guests have the unique opportunity to participate in the adventurous day game drives, night safaris, bushman walks and guided walks through the untamed African wilderness.
Game is plentiful around the Lodge with large herds of Gemsbok, eland and blue wildebeest as well as other large and small mammals. Predators are very active with a large resident lion population. Other predators, which are seen on a regular basis, are the brown hyena, the cheetah, the leopard and even wild dogs.
