Activities
Guests staying at the Deception Valley Lodge can participate in exciting game drives and track wildlife in an open four-wheel-drive vehicle or enjoy a walking safari on foot with experienced guides, Bushmen, who share their knowledge of game in the region. A cultural experience with San Bushmen is some of the experiences that will never fade.

The Deception Valley Lodge is an oasis located in the Kalahari of Botswana not far from the famous Okavango Delta in Southern Africa. Situated approximately 120 kilometers south from Maun, adjoining the Central Kalahari Game Reserve and not far from the Okavango Delta, one can find the luxurious Deception Valley Lodge. This Lodge provides a unique African experience for travelers who wish to enjoy the true atmosphere of the bush in one of Africa's remote areas.
A stay at the Deception Valley Lodge in Botswana combines luxurious accommodation with all the excitement of being surrounded by the wild, untamed bush of Africa with all the wildlife, which inhabits it.
The main complex at the Deception Valley Lodge features a dining room, a lounge and bar area, which is decorated in warm Kalahari colours making use of Bushmen and other African artefacts. From the deck of the safari lodge, one can observe wildlife at the nearby water hole. A curio shop and small library forms part of the main lodge. The lodge has an ethnic African theme and is built to fit into the surrounding bush without altering, damaging or detracting from its ambience and colour.
An inviting swimming pool is situated close to the main lodge. To enhance the enjoyment of their guests, the lodge features a boma for night time meals, whilst gazing across a clear night sky with its abundance of stars.

Accommodation
Accommodation at the Deception Valley Lodge consists of eight private units, each consisting of a twin bedroom, a lounge and a Victorian style bathroom with an outside shower. Each chalet at the Lodge features a deck where one can sit and gaze at the vastness of the Kalahari bush, stretching for miles. The lodge provides an ethnic African theme and was built to fit into the surrounding bush.
The Deception Valley Lodge can accommodate 16 guests:
