As conducted from O R Tambo International Airport to Cape Town International Airport.
Day 01 - 02: Johannesburg
Upon your arrival at O R Tambo International Airport, you will be met and assisted from your arrival plane, through passport control, through baggage claim and escort you to the transfer vehicle that will transfer you to the Saxon Hotel and will hand over to you your personal travel journal.
Nestled in exquisitely landscaped gardens, the discerning Saxon Hotel offers its guests exceptional exclusivity and service in tranquil surrounds. The hotel's 24 magnificent suites exude an unrivalled air of luxury. Each suite offers large picture bay windows that look out over the gardens or the beautiful pool area and has a lovely ensuite bathroom; satellite television and state-of-the-art surround sound music system. A superb restaurant serves colourful and experiential dishes such as African game and mouth-watering seafood delicacies, while the wine cellars and dining library offer novel locations for intimate dinners. The Pool Terrace is an inviting area, where guests can relax and while away the afternoon before repairing to the Olive Bar. The outdoor heated infinity pool (with underwater music), well-equipped gym and soul-soothing spa are also available for guests' enjoyment.
Spend one night at the Saxon Hotel. Accommodation is in an Egoli Suite. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 02 - 04: Kruger National Park
This morning you will be collected from the Saxon Hotel for your private road transfer to the O R Tambo International Airport. At the airport you will board your scheduled charter flight to Ngala Private Game Reserve. You will be transferred from the Timbavati airstrip to the Game Lodge in an open 4 x 4 vehicle. Depending on your arrival time at the lodge, you will be in time for some refreshments followed by your first game drive.
Situated under a canopy of mopane and tamboti trees, Ngala Safari Lodge features 20 classic thatched cottages and the luxurious Safari Suite. Each ensuite cottage, with private veranda, exudes a romantic colonial ambience with nostalgic safari memorabilia throughout. The gracious Safari Suite offers guests a spacious sitting room, private swimming pool, and exclusive use of a safari vehicle. The Lodge's large sparkling swimming pool overlooks a natural riverine woodland. Hearty breakfasts and delicious lunches are served in the dappled shade of an enormous weeping boerbean tree. Upon their return from exhilarating evening game drives, guests are welcomed by Ngala's warm, hospitable staff to a banquet in the elegant candlelit courtyard, or to an African feast around the blazing boma fire. The Lodge's thatched dining, bar and sitting areas are open to the warm breezes of the inviting African bushveld.
Spend two nights at Ngala Safari Lodge. Accommodation is in a cottage. Your stay is on a fully inclusive basis (including three meals, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives, Nature Walks (1 hour) accompanied by experienced armed trackers, subject to availability. Emergency medical evacuation insurance and laundry.
Day 04 - 06: Phinda Private Game Reserve
This morning after your final game drive and breakfast you will be transferred by road in an open 4 x 4 vehicle to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Phinda Private Game Reserve.
Depending on your arrival time at the lodge, you will be in time for some refreshments followed by your first game drive.
Fringing the Reserve's unique vlei (wetland) system along the edge of the rare sand forest, the sophisticated Phinda Vlei Lodge is intimately integrated into the surrounding African bush. Gracious and elegant, this lodge comprises six thatched suites decorated in a subtle blend of North and West African styles, with hints of Balinese influences. Each suite, complete with luxurious ensuite bathroom, dressing room, private plunge pool and game viewing deck, overlooks the grassy vlei where guests can observe herds of grazing antelope and a dazzling variety of birdlife. The atmosphere is exclusive and personal, with a mixture of understated sophistication and sheer luxury. Relax in private plunge pools and watch the drama of the African wilderness unfold, or unwind in the comfortable sitting area in front of a warm and inviting open fireplace. Savour delicious and innovative Pan African meals, served on the expansive game viewing decks or in a beautiful and remote bush setting, creating lifelong memories.
Spend two nights at Phinda Vlei Lodge. Accommodation is in a suite. Your stay is on a fully inclusive basis (including accommodation, three meals, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives, Nature Walks (1 hour) accompanied by experienced armed trackers, subject to availability. Emergency medical evacuation insurance and laundry.
Day 06 - 08: Cape Town
This morning after your final game drive and breakfast you will be transferred by road in an open 4 x 4 vehicle to the Phinda airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Johannesburg. On your arrival at the O R Tambo International Airport, you will board your scheduled domestic flight to Cape Town (domestic flight not included in cost). On your arrival at the Cape Town International Airport you will be met and transfered by road to 5 star Ellerman House.
Nestled along the slopes of the Lion's Head Mountain is Ellerman House. Steeped in history, this magnificent establishment offers its guests superb accommodation and art enthusiasts will revel in delight with its fine collection of South African masterpieces. With 11 individually decorated suites and one superlative villa, guests can expect nothing more than pure sophistication and comfort. Each suite has a gracious living room, beautiful ensuite bathroom and private, sea-facing balcony. Guest areas include a world-class kitchen, which offers visitors a chance to try their hand at traditional Cape Malay cooking, a well-equipped gym and soul-soothing spa, an inviting swimming pool, library and magnificent gardens. A variety of activities await guests in the surrounding Cape Town area. From picturesque beaches and tours up the famed Table Mountain to world-class wine tasting and exhilarating water activities - there is something for everyone!
Spend two nights at Ellerman House. Accommodation is in a sea-view room. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis and including made to order breakfast including fresh-pressed juices and home-baked breads and pastries, hand finished laundry packed in tissue paper, complimentary teas, coffees, spirits and beer, fully stocked in-room bar with luxury brands, guest pantry with wide selection of snacks and in-between meal options, sunset cocktails, broadband wireless Internet access and 24 hours security, individual attention from Senior Managers who personally supervise guest services.
Day 08: Departure
This morning you will be transferred by road to the Cape Town International Airport. Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met and assisted with your flight check in and escort you through passport control and to your departure plane.

- Single supplements only refer to the single room supplement. Please contact us for the single traveller supplements.
- Rates quoted are subject to availability and subject to change.
- Tours spanning over two or more date periods will be costed up according to accurate rates at the time of quoting.
- No single supplement is charged for the first two single rooms on a booking at game lodges, any additional rooms will have a 50% supplement levied.
- Please take note that the luggage restriction for the charter flights is 20 kg in small soft bags.
- Ellerman House is closed for annual refurbishment between 15 June - 15 July 2009
- Due to the increasing global cost of oil, fuel levies on scheduled and private flights as well as road transfers, may increase at any given moment. As this is not an organizers charge, this cost will unfortunately be passed onto our guest.
