| DETAILED ITINERARY: |
|
|
Itinerary as conducted from / to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
Day 01 & 02: Masai Mara National Reserve
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met for your road transfer to Wilson Airport. On arrival you board your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. Daily flights depart at 10:00 and 15:00. From the airstrip a short game-drive transfer will bring you to camp.
Spend two nights at Bateleur Camp. Accommodation is in a tent, splendidly furnished. Each tent is tended by a butler. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees.
Activities include day and night game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles. A ballooning safari and/or a day trip to Lake Victoria (Mfangano Island) can be arranged at an additional cost.
Day 03 & 04: Lake Manyara National Park
Enjoy an early morning game-drive and breakfast before your transfer to the airstrip where you board your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport. Clear customs (Kenya) before you depart to Kilimanjaro International Airport. After clearing customs and immigration (Tanzania) you continue on your scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip where you will be met by a representative from Lake Manyara Tree Lodge for your game-drive transfer of approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to the lodge.
Spend two nights at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. Accommodation is in a stilted treehouse nestled in boughs of mahogany trees. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees.
Activities include game-drives in Lake Manyara National Park.
Day 05 & 06: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip where you board your scheduled flight to Grumeti or Kleins Airstrip. From the airstrip a short game-drive transfer, 10 minutes, will bring you to camp.
Spend two nights at Klein's Camp. Accommodation is in a thatched cottage. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and concession fees.
Activities include game-drives and nature walks in the Klein's Camp private concession. The afternoon game-drives extend after sunset with the aid of a spotlight, returning to the camp after dark. Klein's Camp community visits are available at an additional cost and may be booked directly at the lodge, subject to availability of vehicles.
Alternatively: accommodation at Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp
Spend two nights at Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp. Accommodation is in a lavish tent. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees.
Activities include game-drives in the Serengeti National Park. Day trips to Lake Victoria (Lukubo Island) are available at an additional cost and may be booked directly at the lodge, subject to availability of vehicles.
Alternatively: accommodation at the Serengeti Under Canvas
Spend two nights at your Serengeti Under Canvas wilderness campsite. Accommodation is in a tent grandly furnished. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled game-drives and park fees.
Activities include game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles.
Day 07 & 08: Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area
Enjoy an early morning game-drive and breakfast before your transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip. You will be met by a representative from Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for your road transfer, 2 hours, to the lodge.
Spend two nights at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Accommodation is in a sumptuous double suite. Each suite is tended by a butler. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees.
Activities include one game-drive on the Crater floor. Additional activities may be booked directly at the lodge, subject to extra cost and availability of vehicles. Such activities include excursions to Olduvai Gorge and Shifting Sands, a visit to a Maasai village and walks at Empakai Crater. Massages are offered for those who need to relax after a day's game-viewing.
Day 09: Nairobi, Kenya
After breakfast you will be transferred to Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. After clearing customs and immigration you continue to Wilson Airport. On arrival at 14:45, you will be transferred to a hotel in Nairobi. Transfer from hotel in Nairobi to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. On arrival our services end.

- Rates are subject to a minimum of two guests travelling
- The following game lodges are closed from 01 April to 30 April: Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp and Klein's Camp
- No single room supplement applicable for the first two single rooms booked, per booking at the following lodges: Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp and Klein's Camp. For three or more single rooms booked a single room supplement is applicable
- Single supplement applies at Serengeti Under Canvas regardless of number of rooms booked.
- This itinerary includes transfers from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to a city centre hotel in Nairobi (day 1) and from a hotel in Nairobi to Wilson Airport (day 1). Transfers from Wilson Airport to a city centre hotel in Nairobi (day 9) and from hotel in Nairobi to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (day 9) are also included. Should your guests require an overnight/s in Nairobi please refer to our nightly rate sheet and add to the cost.
- The perfect way to end this itinerary is to add 4 or more nights at Mnemba Island. Please refer to the Island Retreat package.
- Please note: Due to the increasing global cost of oil, fuel levies on scheduled and private flights as well as road transfers, may increase at any given moment. As this is not the organizers charge, this cost will unfortunately be passed onto you.
