| DETAILED ITINERARY: |
|
|
As conducted from / to Kilimanjaro International Airport
Day 01 & 02: Lake Manyara National Park
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met and transfered to Arusha Airport where you board your scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip. Daily flights depart at 08:30 and 13:00. You will be met by a representative from Lake Manyara Tree Lodge for your game-drive transfer, 3 hours and 30 minutes, to the lodge.
Spend two nights at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. Accommodation is in a stilted treehouse nestled in boughs of mahogany trees. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees.
Activities include game-drives in Lake Manyara National Park.
Day 03, 04 & 05: Serengeti National Park / Klein's Camp
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip where you board your scheduled flight to Grumeti, Kleins or Serengeti Under Canvas Airstrip. From the airstrip a short game-drive transfer, will bring you to camp.
Spend three nights at Klein's Camp. Accommodation is in a thatched cottage. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and concession fees.
Activities include game-drives and nature walks on the Klein's Camp private concession. The afternoon game-drives extend after sunset with the aid of a spotlight, returning to the camp after dark. Klein's Camp community visits are available at an additional cost and may be booked directly at the lodge, subject to availability of vehicles.
Alternatively: Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp
Spend three nights at Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp. Accommodation is in a lavish tent. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees.
Activities include game-drives in the Serengeti National Park. Day trips to Lake Victoria (Lukubo Island) are available at an additional cost and may be booked directly at the lodge, subject to availability of vehicles.
Alternatively: Serengeti Under Canvas wilderness campsite
Spend three nights at your Serengeti Under Canvas wilderness campsite. Accommodation is in a tent grandly furnished. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled game-drives and park fees.
Day 06 & 07: Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area
Enjoy an early morning game-drive and breakfast before your transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip. You will be met by a representative from Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for your road transfer, 2 hours, to the lodge.
Spend two nights at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Accommodation is in a sumptuous double suite. Each suite is tended by a butler. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees.
Activities include one game-drive on the Crater floor. Additional activities may be booked directly at the lodge, subject to extra cost and availability of vehicles. Such activities include excursions to Olduvai Gorge and Shifting Sands, a visit to a Maasai village and walks at Empakai Crater. Massages are offered for those who need to relax after a day's game-viewing.
Day 08: Arusha
After breakfast you will be transferred to Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha Airport. On arrival at 12:45 you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport where our services end.

- Rates subject to a minimum of 2 guests travelling.
- The following game lodges are closed from 01 April to 30 April.: Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp and Klein's Camp
- No single room supplement applicable for the first two single rooms booked at the following lodges: Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp and Klein's Camp, thereafter a single supplement applies.
- Single supplement applies at Serengeti Under Canvas regardless of number of rooms booked.
- This itinerary includes transfers from Kilimanjaro International Airport to a hotel in Arusha (day 1) and from a hotel in Arusha to Arusha Airport (day 1). Should your guests require an overnight in Arusha please refer to our nightly rate sheet and add to the cost.
- The perfect way to end this itinerary is to add 4 or more nights at Mnemba Island. Please refer to the Island Retreat package.
- Please note: Due to the increasing global cost of oil, fuel levies on scheduled and private flights as well as road transfers, may increase at any given moment. As this is not the organizers charge, this cost will unfortunately be passed onto you.
