Directions from Port Elizabeth
The Hitgeheim Country Lodge & Eco Reserve is located close to the Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, and is approximately 65km from Port Elizabeth. It is the perfect country retreat as it is less than one hour's drive from Port Elizabeth. There is a landing strip and helicopter-pad situated on the reserve.
The directions to the Hitgeheim Country Lodge are as follows:
Take the N2 towards Grahamstown. Outside Port Elizabeth you will cross the Swartkops River, pass BLUEWATER BAY and 500m further you take the first exit (MOTHERWELL/MARKMAN/ST GEORGES). At stop you turn left onto the R335 and follow road to ADDO for approximately 40km. After you crossed the railway line turn left onto R336 towards KIRKWOOD. Continue along R336 for 9 km, turn left at HITGEHEIM signboard, follow road for 2 km and turn left onto eco-reserve. Follow signage to the Hitgeheim Country Lodge.

The luxurious Hitgeheim Country Lodge, South Africa, has established a reputation for outstanding cuisine. All meals served at this exclusive country retreat in the Eastern Cape are selectively planned and prepared by the lodge's resident chef to suit guests' special dietary requirements.
