Set in the malaria-free Madikwe Reserve, Jaci’s Safari Lodge has only a very few rooms and an exclusive 2 bed roomed suite. Shaggy thached roofs, canvas walks, and large tented windows create a true safari atmosphere. Private wooden viewing decks overlook a stream where animals and birds come to drinks. The trendy main area, built in a curve around an ancient termite mound, has a spacious lounge, open-plan dining area, raised bar, and a curio shop.
Accommodation
Each room at Jaci’s Safari Lodge has a fireplace, an
open-plan bathroom with a handcrafted rock bath, and an outdoor safari shower.
At Jaci’s Tree Lodge, each of the elevated tree
houses has been crafted around an ancient Tamboti or Leadwood tree, using timber, thatch and canvas. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, as well as outdoor jungle-showers beneath a canopy of trees. Raised wooden walkways link the tree houses to a central dining, lounge and bar area.
Activities / Facilities
Between the early morning and evening game drives and walks, there is a cool swimming pool overlooking the river. Lie in a hammock, sip an ice-cold drink, watch the birds, the butterflies and beasts, relax, unwind.
