★ ★ ★ ★

The Chobe Princesses is like being on a private, luxury houseboat with no set itineraries and departures dates in place. Only a small amount of guests can be accommodated Chobe Princesses boat making this wildlife experience very personal and tranquil.

Each of the ships can also be booked exclusively allowing guests to enjoy complete privacy together with their families and friends. The cabins are tastefully decorated featuring a contemporary style, offering guests their view onto the scenic landscape.

From the comfort of the king-size bed, one can observe the elephants grazing by the river and watch the fish eagles diving for their prey. The cabins are equipped with convenient, standard amenities and features as well as a large sliding window through which the ever-changing African landscapes can be admired.

The Chobe Princesses luxury houseboats are moored on the Namibian side of the Chobe River in Southern Africa. Access to the boats is via Botswana's Kasane Immigration Office followed by crossing the border to Namibia. Self-drive guests may park their car next to the Kasane Immigration Office.

The upper deck features a plunge pool which offers a welcoming refreshment during the warm afternoons. A welcoming lounge invites for cold sundowners while guests may expect delicious meals in the dining area of the houseboat.

When travelling, meals become part of holiday memories. On the Chobe Princesses, guests may enjoy three delicious, hearty meals along with drinks and snacks in between. During sunrise, a warm cup of coffee or tea with wholesome rusks and biscuits are offered before departing by small boat on a wildlife viewing excursion. After that, a fresh continental buffet or a hot English breakfast awaits.

Set menus are available for lunch and dinner. Dietary requirements can be catered for if communicated to reservations well in advance. However, due to the boats, remote location, Kosher and Halaal meals cannot be provided. Tea, coffee and home-baked treats are readily available throughout the day for guests to enjoy.

After relaxing with a traditional African safari sundowner, guests may enjoy a three-course dinner as they are serenaded by the sounds of elephants, hyenas, and sometimes lions. Following dinner, coffee and a nightcap are served before going to sleep to end a perfect day.

The houseboats offer smaller boats which are used for the daily excursions. Thrilling activities are available which include wildlife viewing, fishing, photographic safaris, bird watching as well as cultural tours. An alternative to the new recreation, guests may relax on the deck chair with refreshing beverages and take in the peaceful surroundings.

Two of the Chobe Princess Luxury Boats offer four cabin suites, while the third Chobe Princess provides a total of five suites. Each cabin can accommodate two guests, providing a king-sized bed or two single beds.
