Klaserie Sands River Camp lies within the wildlife-rich, Big Five Klaserie Private Nature Reserve in proximity to Hoedspruit in South Africa's Limpopo Province.

The Klaserie accommodation comprises four guest suites in total all of which feature en-suite bathrooms. The Honeymoon Suite, as well as the Family Suites, offer a bath, outdoor showers as well as private WC.

The Klaserie lodge has outside rim-flow swimming pool and sun deck invite for a refreshing swim and relaxation while one can overlook the active waterhole which is frequented by passing kudus, elephants, herds of impala and buffalo. Welcoming shade is provided on the decks by the ancient Jackalberry trees.

Being of the biggest, privately owned nature reserves in Southern Africa, the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve covers a pristine wildlife region of over 60 500 hectares. It forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park and is a member of the Association of Private Nature Reserves (APNR) which consists of Klaserie, Timbavati, The Umbabat and Balule.

The reserve was established in 1968; it was officially proclaimed a nature reserve in 1973. It is home to a large variety of wildlife including the "Big Five" (lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards) as well as many different species of birds.

Flights are available between Johannesburg (OR Tambo International) and Hoedspruit (Eastgate Airport). Flights from Cape Town to Hoedspruit can also be booked. From the Eastgate Airport in Hoedspruit, the lodge offers a road transfer.
