Ulusaba Private Game Reserve is on 13,605 ha in the prestigious Sabi Sands Game Reserve, which, adjacent to the Kruger National Park in Sabi Sands.

The reserve is indisputably one of South Africa's most elite reserves. Guests return to the Camp to relax at the Aroma Boma beauty treatment centre, to enjoy a game of tennis, take a swim in the refreshing swimming pool or work out in the fully equipped gym at the lodge. Guests can savour a traditional meal under the African stars which are sure to tantalise the taste buds.

Guests can choose to go on a thrilling safari ride or enjoy an adventurous guided African safari game walk in the open bush, visitors have more than 10 000 acres of the unspoilt African bush to enjoy virtually exclusively.

Two safari drives daily, one early in the morning and one late in the afternoon, in open 4x4 wildlife viewing safari vehicles and nature walks are available to guests staying at the lodge. The excellent wildlife viewing experience is combined with other activities such as stargazing, bird watching and moonlit bush dinners or sundowners which are weather permitting.

Early-morning walking safaris allow safari travellers to get up close to the smaller, yet just as fascinating, animals that inhabit the reserve. These bushwalks are led by the knowledgeable rangers and trackers of the reserve, who will show guests the unique medicinal properties of indigenous plants, teach about local beliefs and offer up fascinating animal facts.

After a hot day in the African bush, travellers can indulge in any number of spa treatments at the Aroma Boma. Options include a hypodermic facial which uses high-frequency current to cleanse deep and hydrate the root layers of the skin and speed up cellular regeneration. A liposome facial uses a high concentration of vitamin C and proteins to strengthen elasticity and firmness while stimulating cellular regeneration.

The resident beautician also offers aromatherapy massages, manicures, pedicures and waxing. A chiropractor is also available on-site to relieve aches and pains, headaches and muscle tension.

• Ulusaba Rock Lodge: Rock Lodge features a panoramic landscape where the Drakensberg Mountain range in the far distance complements the vast open plains of the lush Lowveld upon which the lodges luxurious rooms are situated.
• Ulusaba Safari Lodge: Safari Lodge suites resemble quaint tree-houses set in the heart of the African wilderness. These stunning treehouses over incredible views of the nearby waterhole and the animals that frequent it.
