The rates at the Nedile Game Lodge are inclusive of:

 •  Accommodation: luxury thatched en-suite chalets
    overlooking spectacular mountain views featured
    with its own fireplace, in-door & out-doors shower,
    as well as a bath. Private veranda and views
    adjoining each chalet.
 •  Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, all teas/coffees.
 •  Open Land Rover safaris with professional rangers
    or bush walk with experienced rangers.

Children Policy at the Nedile Game Lodge:

 •  Children under the age of 12 (pay full adult rate)
    are welcome only if a group booking is done.
 •  Special authorization will be required from the
    owners of Nedile Lodge.
 •  Children are allowed on game drives at the
    discretion of the Game Ranger.
 •  There are no baby-sitting facilities.
 •  There are also no fences around the lodge and
    wild animals roam freely on the property.
 •  There are no safety rails around the private
    decks and the landscape lends itself to several
    precipices.
 •  The environment is not child friendly and could
    be particularly dangerous to smaller children.

 •  Swimming costumes in summer.

Climate:

Summer (October - March). Rainy season: hot days, warm nights. Temperatures: 25 - 35 degrees centigrade.
Winter (April - August). Dry season: generally warm days, cold nights. Temperatures: 5 - 25 degrees centigrade.

The 5 star Nedile Game Lodge is situated in the malaria free Welgevonden Private Game Reserve which is approximately a 3 hours road drive from of Pretoria.
The game rich Welgevonden Game Reserve, which is located in the Limpopo Province in South Africa, is a declared Heritage Site of 33000 hectares bordering the Marekele National Park.

With more that 70 White Rhino, the Welgevonden Game Reserve is home to the biggest collection of privately owned White Rhino, as well as Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and many species of mammals and birds. Africa's Big Five can be observed on adventurous safaris through the bush on guided game drives or
bush walks.

The exclusive Nedile Lodge, Welgevonde Game Reserve, can accommodate 10 Guests in 5 luxurious rooms. With a magnificent view over the bush and mountains, each room at Nedile has a private deck, fireplace, ceiling fan, in door and out door shower as well as a bathroom. The main lodge at the Nedile, with bar, dining room and comfortable lounge invites guests to sit back, relax and take in the quiet and tranquility of the natural surroundings of the Welgevonden Game Reserve.

Guests are invited to cool down in the rock swimming pool at the Nedile Lodge or to join one of the game viewing activities which include game drives through the untamed African bush or guided walks. Under the supervision of an experienced Game Rangers, all activities from game drives to bush walks will provide
a new and unique learning about the wonders of nature.

Every meal is an occasion at the Nedile Lodge with carefully planned menus, served as a sit down event in the elegant dining area or in the starlit, outside boma.

Directions to the Welgevonden West Gate for Nedile Lodge:

 •  Take the N1 from Pretoria to Polokwane (Pietersburg)
 •  There are three tollgates to take into consideration
 •  The first, Pumulanie Tollgate
 •  The second, the Carousel Tollgate
 •  The third, Kranskop Tollgate
 •  At the third tollgate (Kranskop Plaza) use the left
    gate and proceed on the R33 to Modimolle
    (Nylstroom) 11km further - Modimolle (Nylstroom)
 •  Go straight through Modimolle (Nylstroom) towards
    Vaalwater. This is about 60 km.
 •  Pass straight through Vaalwater. Do not turn off
    anywhere.
 •  After Vaalwater past the garage, (Spar on left hand
    side), continue straight on the road towards
    Bulgerivier and Thabazimbi, do not turn right on the
    R33 towards Ellisras.
 •  Please do not take the Bakkerspas (Welgevonden
    South Gate) turn off - Keep going straight on the
    Thabazimbi road.
 •  Please do not take the Welgevonden East Gate turn
    off - Keep on going on the Thabazimbi road.
 •  Welgevonden Main Gate will be on your left hand
    side coming from Vaalwater. The Welgevonden Main
    Gate is 22 km, from Vaalwater. Look out for the
    Tourist Information board on your left hand side
    informing you about the Welgevonden Main Gate.
 •  The Welgevonden Main Gate sign is on your left.
 •  Please do not take the Welgevonden Main Gate
    entrance - Keep on going for 40 km further. On your
    left hand side you will see the road sign
    Schoongelegen turnoff.
 •  Turn left onto Schoongelegen dirt road. There is
    also a road sign indicating the Welgevonden West
    Gate. Continue along this road for a further 17 km
    past Manual Gate to the West Gate on your left hand
    side.
 •  The distance from Vaalwater Spar Supermarket to
    the Welgevonden West Gate is approximately 86
    kilometers, 45 - 60 minutes drive.
 •  Guests are picked up at the Welgevonden West
    Gate.
 •  The guests' vehicles will stay at the West Gate
    parked behind elephant proof electric fences with
    24 hours security.
