Location & Directions to the Nguni River Lodge
The Nguni River Lodge is situated in the Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.
It is located:
- Approximately a 1 hours drive from the Port Elizabeth Airport
- Approximately a 1 hours drive from Port Elizabeth itself
- Approximately 1 hour from the Woody Cape Nature Reserve
By Air
Visitors can fly from the Johannesburg International Airport, Cape Town Airport or Durban Airport to the Port Elizabeth Airport.
By Road
From Port Elizabeth Travel along the N2 towards Grahamstown - approximately 65km's Take the N10 crossover towards Paterson / Cradock At Paterson, turn Left at the Addo National Park sign onto the R342 After passing the first sign board one must travel 10km, you will see the Nguni Lodges gate on the right hand side.
A Member of the Nguni Tribe meets guests at the gate. Guests are kindly asked to call the lodge when passing the town of Paterson to enable theguide to meet them at the gate.

The malaria free Addo Elephant National Park is home to a wide variety of extreme bio-diversity in one great park which comprises 240 000 hectare terrestrial and a 120 000 hectare marine zone. The Nguni River Lodge consists of 8 Bedrooms accommodating 18 people in separate chalets which are linked by walkway to the main lodge.
