- Take N1 to Polokwane
- Turn off at Kranskop Toll Gate
- Turn left to Modimolle (Nylstroom)
- Proceed straight through town to Vaalwater (60km)
- Proceed through Vaalwater until Total Garage
- Turn right to Lephalale (88km)
- About 50km from Vaalwater, turn left at Witkop Road

The Nungu Game Lodge is situated in the lushness of the Waterberg Mountain range in South Africa's Limpopo Province. This exclusive game lodge is located in 6000 hectares of nature's wild bushveld.
A comfortable three hour drive from the city of Johannesburg, Gauteng, takes guests into a world of serenity where nature and luxury meet. The Nungu Game Lodge is home to a wide selection of bird and wildlife, which can be enjoyed from spacious viewing decks or on the daily game drives. The game drives are available to guests forming part of the exclusive safari experience at Nungu.
Accommodation at the Nungu Game Lodge
Guests who want to experience the splendour of the Nungu Game Lodge have the choice of different accommodation options: Suites, Fig Tree Suite, and the Presidential Suite.
Suites
Four spacious freestanding suites are available at the Nungu Game Lodge, each of which is privately positioned on the banks of the Mokolo River. Luxuriously appointed, each glass-fronted suite features a mini bar fridge, safe, telephone, in and outdoor shower, air conditioner and a deck with breathtaking views and private heated plunge pools. These suites at the Nungu Lodge can accommodate 2 guests.
Presidential Suite
The Presidential Suite at the Nungu Game Lodge can accommodate a maximum of four guests. Enjoying its own position along the river bank, the luxurious double story Presidential Suite provides breathtaking views from either of the two decks and features a heated plunge pool. The main bedroom is en-suite and has a private lounging and dressing area.
The lower level of the Presidential Suite at the Nungu Game Lodge is beautifully decorated and includes a superbly appointed second bedroom, a fully equipped bathroom, as well as a guest toilet. A spacious lounge leads onto the lower deck. The suite has kitchen facilities and guests are sure to enjoy the pampering of a private butler and chef to meet their every desire.
Fig Tree Suite
Two spacious freestanding suites are available at the Nungu Game Lodge, each of which is privately positioned on the banks of the Mokolo River. Stylishly appointed, each Fig Tree Suite at the Nungu Lodge offers a spacious living area, on-suite bathroom, outdoor shower and bedroom. This lodge is ideally suited to honeymoon couples or families of four... all seeking to enjoy their own small piece of Africa beneath the fig trees.
Safari experience at the Nungu Game Lodge, Limpopo Province
Qualified rangers from the Nungu Lodge conduct morning and evening safaris in open Landrovers, with walks encouraged for the more adventurous. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on safaris or walks. Children between the age of 6 and 12 will be permitted at the sole discretion of lodge management.
