The Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp is located on the edge of the Okavango Delta in a 7 000-hectare (17 300-acre) wildlife concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana. The word Nxabega stands for "Place of the Giraffe". This Safari Camp is ideally positioned to explore the magnificence of the Okavango Delta in Botswana which is the largest inland delta in the world.
The Okavango Delta is home to a large variety of wildlife and bidlife due to its unique landscape, which is characterized by a wetland wilderness with water channels, islands forested with palms and wide grassy floodplains. Guests staying at the Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp are able to experience this grand combination of water and wildlife on twice-daily game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles one of which is an early morning safari and the other which is conducted in the late afternoon, mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) and powerboat excursions.

Accommodation at the Nxabega Safari Camp
The elegant safari accommodation at the Nxabega Camp consists of nine luxurious tented suites, which are located under a canopy of African ebony trees. Each suite has a stylish en suite bathroom and private verandas overlooking the reeded floodplain.

The Nxabega Camp in the Okavango Delta is an intimate camp, which can accommodate a maximum of 18 guests. The camp consists of exclusive living and dining areas, made from local timber and thatch overlooking the floodplain.
