Guest have the opportunity to fly from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport to Polokwane and then take a Road Transfer from Polokwane to the Ranch. The road transfer from Polokwane to the Lodge takes approximately 2 hours.
The road transfer from Johannesburg direct to the Popallin Safari Ranch takes about 5 hours.

The Popallin Safari Ranch is located on the banks of the Limpopo River in South Africa's Limpopo Province. The 22,000 acres ( 10,000 ha ) of unspoilt bushveld of this Game Lodge is located only 60 kilometers from the Kruger National Park's Pafuri gate. Guests staying at the Popallin Ranch are able to enjoy a thrilling close-up look at a proliferation of game in their natural habitat. The Popallin Safari Ranch is part of the Lion & Buffalo Research Project.
Accommodation at the Popallin Safari Ranch
De Wets Camp
The De Wet's Camp at the Ranch is fully catered for and features 14 beautifully equipped en-suite chalets, which takes guests back to a bygone era of colonial elegance and hospitality.
An open-air lapa dining area, bar facilities and a comfortable lounge area is available, while a sparkling plunge pool invites visitors to cool down after a hard day's sight-seeing. The De Wet's Camp also offers a well-equipped gym.
For the convenience of the traveller, cable television, satellite-phone, cellphone, fax and e-mail facilities are at their disposal.
SiGonde Camp
On the banks of the idyllic Nwandzi River, guests can choose to become truly self-sufficient at the SiGonde Camp.
Realising that there are a few home comforts that visitors enjoy, even in the bush, SiGonde has fresh running water and indoor ablution facilities. The SiGonde Camp is favoured by the self-drive 4x4 enthusiasts.

Wildlife
Game drives, boat trips on the Nwanedzi River, horseback riding, guided walks, bird-watching and day trips to the Kruger National Park. Lion and buffalo breeding programme.
Sights
Guests have the opportunity to visit traditional Venda Village and the biggest tree in Africa, the "Big Tree"; dinners at the Venda Village whilst the locals are dancing.
Limpopo River
Potholes, walks & braais, 4X4 trails (35km of mixed terrain) and Quad bike trails.
Golf
A D.D.V. Design Par 3, 4 and 5 golf course ranging from 127 meters to 435 meters long; the course is a nine hole course with eighteen tees. Total length is 4000 meters. The Golf Course is completely fenced in and safe from the big five.
Breeding programme
White Lion and disease-free Buffalo breeding project.
