SOUTHERN KRUGER NATIONAL PARK MALELANE

	The River House Guest Lodge is beautifully located in Malelane , Mpumalanga on the Southern Border of the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The River House Guest Lodge provides an ideal base from which to explore the Big 5 country as well as the magnificent scenic wonders of Mpumalanga, Swaziland and attractions of Mozambique. The border posts to Swaziland and to Mozambique are a 40 min drive from the River House Guest Lodge. The River House is 60 km from Nelspruit and can be reached from Johannesburg within 4 - 5 hours by road. This country and lodge getaway is approximately 7km from the Malelane entry gate to the Kruger National Park away and within easy reach of the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport ( KMIA) in Nelspruit. At the river's edge, the River House Guest Lodge features a large thatched deck which is the ideal location from which to enjoy the sights and sounds of the African bushveld . Observing Africa's untamed wildlife from here or on exciting safaris is a truly memorable experience. At the River House in Malelane, no television and radios are available and most often newspapers are frowned upon - news in the lodge's world is when a leopard spotted at the river. Accommodation The comfortable Guest House nestles on the banks of the Crocodile river in complete harmony with the African wilderness. The River House Guest Lodge features 12 individually decorated en-suite bedrooms with a choice of either 2 single or 1 double bed. All bathrooms have a shower over bath, hairdryer and amenities are provided, whilst the rooms have coffee making facilities, ceiling fans as well as being air-conditioned. Every room provides a private balcony with superb views up to the Khandizwe and Thlalabye hills of the Southern Kruger National Park . Apart from the chance of spotting lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, rhino and much more the estates garden is a bird watcher's paradise. Apart from the bedrooms, the River House features one selfcatering unit which can accommodate up to 6 guests. Whilst this is not a freestanding river cottage, it is fully equipped and comfortable, although not as the same standard of the house. The unit is aimed more at the budget conscious traveller . Those who prefer a selfcatering option can enjoy the swimming pool, deck and garden.
