Providing exclusivity and comfort, the thatched en-suite luxury tents at Tanda Tula reflect the romance of Africa. Wide wooden decks and spacious bathrooms with Victorian baths and outside showers are reminiscent of a bygone era.

The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve is located adjacent to the Kruger National Park whereby both game reserves are not divided by a fence. This vast wilderness of more than ten million acres allows the wildlife to roam around freely and guests visiting this area of South Africa are ensured the greatest diversity of game, which Africa has to offer.
At the Tanda Tula Safari Camp, a professional rangers and trackers lead the morning and evening game drives on open-sided vehicles. Guests may enjoy the seclusion and feel the true vastness of wilderness, as vehicles are limited to one per square kilometer.

The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve in South Africa came into existence in July 1956 when a group of game farm owners on the western boundary of the Kruger National Park formed the Timbavati Association.
Access to Tanda Tula
- The Tanda Tula Safari Camp is located a 5 ½ hours drive from Johannesburg.
- SA Express flights are available from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit from where guests can request a pick up to the Lodge.
- A private 1 000m tarred airstrip, capable of accommodating most twin aircraft and small executive jets is accessible.
- Co-ordinates of the airfield are as follows: 24 Degrees, 17 min South: 31 Degrees, 18 min East.
