Located in the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park in Zambia / Southern Africa, the Thorntree River Lodge provides its guests with a breathtaking scenery including river views and sightings of a variety of animals on the Zambezi River. Activities
The Thorntree River Lodge is home of the elephants. Guests can discover the beauty of the Zambezi River atop an African Elephant on a thrilling elephant back safari. Safari's are conducted in the early morning or the late afternoon. The possibility of spotting game is enhanced from the elevated position on this magnificent creature. After the elephant back ride, guests are encouraged to interact with the elephants.

By air
Passengers can reach Livingstone by flying internally from Lusaka on either Zambian Airways and or Proflight.
British Airways, Nationwide, South African Airways and Kulula.com all fly to Zambia from Johannesburg ( South Africa ) direct.
By road
The closet city to the Thorntree River Lodge is Livingstone, which is situated 12.5km south east of the lodge on the Nakatindi Road.
Access from Botswana is via the Kazangula ferry. Access from the Victoria Falls is across the Victoria Bridge link.
