From Johannesburg take the N1 to Pretoria/Tshwane
From Pretoria/Tshwane keep on the N1 towards Polokwane
At the third toll (Kranskop) keep left to Nylstroom/Modimolle - drive straight throught Nylstroom/Modimolle to Vaalwater/Mabatlane
Keep straight through Vaalwater/Mabatlane at the end of the town you will get the Zeederberg's Spar Centre keep straight on the R517.
7km from the Zeederberg's Spar Centre you will find Bakkerspass Gravel Road on your left, 30km from turning on the gravel road you will find Matingwe Lodge on your right hand side.
The gravel road is accessible with a small car but we suggest high clearance 4x4 vehicles, especially during our raining season.
