The Jackal & Hide Camp has undergone an extensive renovation and reopens in March 2018 with an exciting new look.
Set amongst the Botswanan wilderness of the Khwai Private reserve this location has everything going for it to be a destination of choice for any wildlife photographer, be they professional or novice.
Guided by a host-guest will receive expert assistance to take the best shots of every given opportunity. Since the camp is on a private reserve, the resident guides are enabled to go off the beaten track (when appropriate) to let you get that perfect image.
The availability of three-game viewing vehicles, all modified with camera mounts built into the arm-rests, allows for the varying needs of different groups. With a total of only 12 guests at any time, this enables you to pair up with others who have similar photographic interests.
Meals are taken together around a long table with views of the natural surrounding, perfect for spotting those giraffe, elephants or lions as they pass.
The sunken lounge and fire-pit will allow you to sit and enjoy drinks from the bar throughout the day and evenings.
All who stay for three or more nights will have the opportunity to enjoy the Mokoro experience, (a safari on an African canoe).
The Jackal & Hide Botswana accommodation is in permanent en-suite raised tents, with the choice of double or twin beds with luxurious features influenced by the natural surroundings.
