The Bakubung Bush Lodge, located in the North West Province in South Africa, is only a short 2-hour drive away from Johannesburg and Pretoria and is therefore easily accessible. Bakubung Bush Lodge is situated in the tranquil heart of the Pilanesberg National Park which is home to Africa’s Big Five: elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo. The Pilanesberg National Park borders the famous entertainment center Sun City resort which is also known as Africa’s kingdom of pleasure.
Bakubung Bush Lodge has been awarded "Best Bush Conference Venue" at the 2000 Venue Finder Awards due to its service excellence. It was also voted the ASATA/Diners Club “Best South African Game Lodge" based on its high levels of service provided to guests.
Bakubung Bush Lodge is an ideal safari destination for families as the rooms at Bakubung accommodate a maximum of 2 children under the age of 18 sharing with the parents in the same room. The lodge offers early morning and late afternoon game drives into the Pilanesberg National Park, which are conducted with professional game rangers. The Pilanesberg National Park can also be accessed with private vehicles.

The air-conditioned, thatched roof rooms at the Bakubung Bush Lodge in the Pilanesberg as well as the chalets curve into a horseshoe around the outside entertainment areas, huddling visitors in cozy intimacy while providing great views over the African bush. All rooms at the Bakubung Bush Lodge feature DSTV, direct dialing telephones, en-suite bathrooms, electric shaving plugs, coffee and tea making machines and hair dryers..
Activities / Facilities at the Bakubung Lodge:
The guest’s wildlife experiences are best shared at a blazing campfire, while one marvels at the spectacle of innumerable stars at the exclusive Boma Lapa in the Pilanesberg National Park. Hot air balloon safaris as well as Elephant back safaris are another very exciting way to get to know the African bush.
Apart from Africa’s 'Big Five', guests also have the opportunity to find the nocturnal brown hyena, cheetah, hippo, crocodile and even sable in this game rich wildlife reserve.

The 24-hour conference package rate at the Bakubung Bush Lodge includes :
three buffet meals in our restaurant (breakfast, lunch & dinner), morning and afternoon tea/coffee breaks, and the use of the conference facilities with standard equipment.
These rates are inclusive of VAT but exclude a 1% tourism levy which will be added to the final account.
