The Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge is situated 11 kilometres north of Hoedspruit in the Lowveld area of the Limpopo Province of South Africa.

The Mohlabetsi forms part of the Balule Nature Reserve, a 50 000-hectare conservation area bordered by the Olifants River to the North, Klaserie Nature Reserve and the Kruger National Park to the east and the R40 public road to the west.

Balule is incorporated into the Greater Kruger National Park Management Area. This lodge has exclusive traversing rights over some 2 500 hectares and has joint traversing over a further 5 000 hectares.

Animals can be observed in their natural surroundings, in a pristine ecosystem. The Lodge conducts safari drives and foot safaris with competent and enthusiastic guides. The camps are unfenced and allow for a wonderful bush experience.

The Safari Lodge features six twin or double-bedded thatched rondavels, all of which are en-suite. The Mohlabetsi Lodge provides 2 Family Chalets, which are the interleading twin and double rooms, each with their private facilities.

The rooms at the Lodge are comfortably appointed and are of a 4-star standard. The lodge features a large trophy room and lounge, with many interesting artefacts and wood carvings, an outdoor bar and lounge with excellent views of the bushveld and a well-frequented waterhole, an indoor dining room and a boma, where campfire dinners are served.

The Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge offers its guests access to its swimming pool. Guests may also enjoy massages in the "Tranquility Lapa" with an incredible bush ambience. The lodge offers stargazing experiences in the evenings, using knowledgeable guides and powerful laser pointers as well as an 8'' telescope.

Safari drives depart the lodge in the late afternoon, carrying on into the evening. Guests are taken in open Land Rovers, and a sundowner stop is enjoyed before the flashlights are used. Animals are plentiful and are well accustomed to vehicles, so sightings of the game are an exciting adventure and often include the "Big 5".

The guests are returned to the lodge for dinner about an hour after sunset. Meals are innovative and served around the campfire of the reed boma. The lodge took guests for safari drives and guided bush walks in the morning at sunrise, and return for breakfast after about three to four hours.

The Tranquility Lapa is situated in a quiet area of the Lodge and offers relaxing massages during the day. Guests are invited to enjoy an Aromatherapy Massage, with only the sounds of nature to provide background music.
