The charming and rustic Amanzi Camp nestles on the banks of the Ngwenya channel in Zambia, Southern Africa. Its ideal location on the Zambezi River makes this a perfect location from which to explore the surrounding wildlife.
The name “Amanzi” stands for "water” in the Isindebele language referring to its prime position on the Zambezi River. From the lodge's sun deck and outdoor swimming pool, guests have absolute viewing pleasure over the mosaic of islands which are home to a herd of elephant bulls.
Featuring four traditional safari tents, which are set on raised wooden decks, the Amanzi Camp also provides one family luxury tent which is an idea for travellers with young children.
A wide variety of exciting activities are available for guests staying at the Amanzi Camp. Guests spend the day admiring wildlife which roams around the Lower Zambezi National Park plains. Bird watching enthusiasts are in for a treat being able to admire more than 500 bird species, which include the magnificent Ground Hornbill, the African Skimmers, Bee Eaters, as well as the Block Crowned Night Herons and Amethyst Sunbirds to name but a few.
Amanzi Guests are served a delicious fusion of European and African cuisines, some of the finest safari cuisines which are passionately prepared by the camp's head chef.
