The Baker’s Lodge in Uganda is located on the South Bank of the Nile River which runs through the magnificent Murchison Falls National Park.

Set within a private area with direct river access, this intimate safari lodge offers exceptional wildlife experience including Chimpanzee trekking. The Lodge is the perfect destination for visitors ready to explore the East African Murchison Falls National Park with its impressive mahogany trees in the Budongo Forest home to a tribe of chimpanzees.

This eco-friendly Chimpanzee lodge was named by first European to visit the area by the English explorer Samuel Baker. Home to over three hundred butterfly species alongside 465 species of birds flying within the forested areas and the river banks and the surrounding parks make this a unique and distinctive safari destination in Africa.

Many roaming elephants, lounging hippos and patient crocodiles located in the park allowing you to witness them by land and water safaris as well as the option to have a trekking experience with the chimpanzees.

A cosy lounge under the thatched roof, a well-appointed bar and dining room next to the refreshing swimming-pool, surrounded by spectacular river views make for a comfortable place to enjoy the natural surroundings.
