The Bakgatla Resort in the Pilanesberg National Park is a family welcoming resort nestled in a natural reserve which is home to many unique and beautiful species of birds, mammals as well as vegetation.

The resort in the Pilanesberg lies about 176 km away from the city of Johannesburg, 135 km from Pretoria, and only 22 km from the spectacular Sun City Resort making it an easy to reach the getaway destination. From this resort, Thabayadiotso which is also known as the 'Proud Mountain', as well as the Mankwe Dam, being the massive central lake in the park are accessible.
