The Baluleni Safari Lodge is 33 km from the Phalaborwa entrance which leads into the Kruger National Park.

Hoedspruit is only 55 km away, and Phalaborwa Airport is just 25 km away, making this safari destination readily available. Baluleni Safari Lodge Guests are accommodated in five Chalets and two Luxury Safari Tents. Cottages overlook the ‘animal walkway’ and the Olifants River beyond. 

The Classic Safari Tents are set on raised platforms with spacious verandahs. The Baluleni thatched chalets feature double, extra-length beds with a mosquito netting, built-in cupboards, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, en-suite bathrooms with shower, indoor lounges, day beds & sleeper couches, mini bar fridges as well as tea & coffee stations.

The Baluli Safari Tents offer two ¾ beds, en-suite bathrooms with both baths and showers, ceiling fans, mini bar fridges, coffee and tea stations, wardrobes, dressing tables with mirror and hair dryers, as well as a set of chairs and a table.

Set on the river banks of the Olifants River makes this area famous for wildlife with a host of animals including elephants, antelopes, baboons and monkeys, warthogs, leopards, and porcupines having wandered through the grounds of the lodge in the past.

The main lodge features the welcoming lounge, the restaurant and bar. The glass sliding doors open onto the verandah where comfortable seating is available. Guests may enjoy a refreshing swim in the lodge's outdoor swimming pool. Unforgettable safari-style dinners are served under the star-studded African sky at the boma.

The Baluleni daily activity and safari schedules change according to the season as well as to guests’ itineraries and requests. A typical day includes an early breakfast followed by a 3-hour safari through the untamed bushveld or departing for tours and other activities. The Kruger full-day safaris leave the lodge before breakfast.
