The Bisate Lodge by Wilderness is within the natural amphitheatre of an extinct volcanic cone. The lodge will provide nine luxurious rooms from which magnificent views of the Mikeno, the Bisoke and the Karisimbi Volcanoes can be admired.
The lodge is near the Volcanoes Park in Rwanda. The lodge will also be a fantastic community & conservation and project, with its first task focusing on native reforestation of a core 64 Acres of land. This part of Rwanda is home to the endangered mountain gorilla.
Responsible ecotourism will be practised and to contributions to preservation and community empowerment will be made.
The reforestation programme has also planted over 3010 indigenous trees. Rwanda is a great place to go gorilla trekking and Bisate lodge does it in style.
