The Camp Figtree Colonial African Lodge is located roughly an hours drive away from Port Elizabeth, on the border to the Addo Elephant Park in which the lodge offers twice-daily safari excursions. This inn in the Eastern Cape of South Africa is magnificently located on the slopes of the Zuurberg mountains and pride itself on an excellent reputation for cuisine, hospitality and luxurious accommodation.

The camp Figtree offers in either the luxurious suites or the equally comfortable safari tents. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy a truly authentic South African experience when staying in one of the posh tents. This sanctuary is set up in the heart of nature providing comfort and luxury. Activities and Wildlife Encounters

Safari drives are offered on a twice-daily basis and at a surcharge. The safari is conducted in the world-renowned Addo Elephant National Park - home to the highest density of elephant in the world.& The reserve is also home to all members of the Big 5, a multitude of antelope and favourite wildlife species and offers fantastic birding.
An alternative option is to go on an elephant-back safari at a different venue.
