Camp Moremi is in the Okavango Delta on the edge of the Xakanaxa Lagoon. The area has an abundance of water and supports a large variety of predators.
There are 11 tents, and one family room with an en-suite bathroom comprising of a shower, vanity and toilet, and the 2nd bathroom have a shower & toilet.
Camp Moremi tents are styled in what is know as Kenyan safari tents that out of Africa Hemingway look and feel. The tents all have their wildlife viewing decks and en-suite bathrooms.
The Moremi lodge can accommodate a total of 24 guests at any one time. They promote the idea of having a minimal impact on the environment and one on one experience with nature. The lodge is set amongst large tree which offers a canopy of shade.
Camp guest are served breakfast, brunch and the high tea in the boma. The dinners are served treetop canopy, and nightcaps are enjoyed beside the fire. Guests can relax by a swimming pool with views of the water.
Game Viewing at Camp Moremi is in Delta which feeds water into the vast plains of the Kalahari plain, and wildlife nature explodes with life. The open grasslands, marsh & river habitats result in an abundance of wildlife viewing experiences.
The big game is on morning and afternoon safari drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle on the Moremi Game Reserve. The reserve is famous for lion, leopard and cheetah sightings. The wonder of the park the pack wild dogs that hunt in the area. The best way to see the park is by boat on the Xakanaxa Lagoon. For bird lovers, this is a fantastic experience to watch Fish Eagles fishing in the lagoon.
Children 6 and over are welcome at an additional cost. The family rooms have two rooms inter-leading. One room is en-suite, the second can take a third child.
