The magnificent Chindeni Bushcamp is based on the edge of an oxbow lagoon with the Chindeni Hills creating an exceptional natural backdrop.
Accommodation
Sleeping under canvas often creates a strong sense of adventure. Chindeni combines that feeling with comfort through four spacious tents featuring wooden floors, four poster beds and private verandas overlooking the lagoon.
The main area includes layered decking built around ebony trees, all positioned to take full advantage of the impressive lagoon views and the wildlife that gathers there.
Experiences
Chindeni offers a range of experiences suited to both active exploration and relaxed wildlife viewing. Visitors can participate in walking safaris, game drives, night drives and scenic sundowner outings in the surrounding area.
Those wishing to remain still can sit back in a deck chair and watch the animals that naturally move toward the lagoon.
Where the walking safari is King
The South Luangwa region is known as the birthplace of the walking safari, making it fitting that many activities here take place on foot with highly experienced guides leading the way.
