Stunning panoramic views greet travellers at the Desert Homestead Lodge, the gateway to the Namibian desert red sands within the seven-thousand-hectare nature reserve. Twelve individual houses feature the accommodation, giving guests an extra-special African private retreat. A ceiling fan and a mosquito net are provided for comfort.
The main house homes the cooling swimming-pool with sun-loungers, a lounge and restaurant all with views of the sands and surrounding mountains. Quietly sit in the sheltered area and watch as the cheetahs roam passed.
Horse safaris and evening sundowner drives enable you to feel at one with the natural surroundings or opt for a view of the sands from the hot air balloon.
