The Elephant Camp at the Victoria Falls features twelve luxurious canvas-built suites.  It is located just ten kilometres downstream from the spectacular falls nestled in the teak woodland of the Victoria Falls National Park.  Guests enjoy breathtaking views of spray and the spectacular gorges which separate Zimbabwe and Zambia. 

Each of the suites is gorge-facing with a private viewing deck, a luxury plunge pool, and a private lounge area, with air-conditioning and fans, lounge in the bath absorbing the stunning views, with both inside and outside showers, a minibar and a tea & coffee station.

The family-friendly 'Elephant Camp West', which operates separately to the main camp can be booked for families and small groups, is comprised of four luxury tents designed for eight adults and eight children. Please ask when booking should you prefer this option. 

Appetizing chef-prepared safari meals, inspired by seasonal artisanal menus, in an Afrocentric ambience, paired with the appropriate beverage, are sure to tickle your taste-buds with world-class food served against a backdrop of natural wonder. The restaurant includes a family-friendly menu with a pizza oven, where families and friends can relax on the environmentally friendly deck overhanging the wilderness and admire the magnificent views of the Victoria Falls and the gaping crater of the Batoka Gorge.

The Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust is based adjacent to The Elephant Camp and a visit to the trust will be part of your experience giving you the opportunity to find out the about the elephants and you can spend the afternoon meeting orphaned elephants at The Wild Horizons Sanctuary. Experience a guided walk around the reserve allowing you to see the wildlife and special features of Elephant Camp.

Enjoy magical views accompanied by lunch at the Lookout Cafe, outings to the breathtaking falls and twice daily transfers to Victoria Falls town. Choose to visit a local village, enjoy canapes and cocktails at the Batoka Gorge, and for the adventurous guests, opt to take a Canopy Tour over the Zambezi gorge giving you a birds-eye view of the rapids. 

When the Zambezi is at its peak capacity, during the rainy season, guests are lulled to sleep by the “Smoke That Thunders” by the river gushing over the side of the cavernous gorge. Be woken gently by the musical songs of the diverse bird population who make Elephant Camp their home.
