The African style Hamiltons Tented Camp in the southern part of the Kruger National Park and offers guests an unforgettable, romantic safari experience.
This small safari lodge reflects the colonial-era of the parks visionary, Colonel James Stevenson-Hamilton, with beautifully appointed safari tents, a fine tradition of service and delectable cuisine.
The Kruger Park in South Africa is one of the world's largest conservancy, covering an area comparable in size to Israel. Within this area, there is a range of habitats, each carrying numerous species that prosper in this pristine environment. The reserve is home to all members of the big-five and guests have excellent sightings of threatened Cheetah and Painted Wild Dog.
Plentiful antelope, giraffe, zebra and wildebeest all add to the spectacle. Bird-watchers also flock here to sight some of over 500 different bird species resident in the area. The lodge has an exclusive traversing area, giving guests private wildlife-viewing opportunities while on safaris that are conducted in luxury safari vehicles or on foot under the guidance of qualified wildlife guides.
Hamilton's camp has six luxury tented suites and sleeps a maximum of 12 guests. Each tent is ideal for privacy and has a fantastic view of the adjacent Ngwenyeni Dam.

The Imbali concession of the Kruger National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife including the 'Big Five', namely lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffaloes. Early morning and late afternoon safari drives are available for visitors whereby exciting encounters with the national park's wild animals can be enjoyed.
As the Hamiltons Tented Camp lies in the Imbali concession within the Kruger National Park in South Africa, guests enter the Kruger National Park through either the Orpen Gate a minimum of 1.5 hours or the Paul Kruger Gate 3 hours before gate closure. Gate entry fees into the Kruger National Park are applicable per guest per stay.
