Humala River Lodge a 49,000ha wildlife sanctuary, in the malaria-free Mpumalanga province, providing a wildlife experience within the Songimvelo Game Reserve. An idyllic spot for a breakaway holiday, a digital detox, a honeymoon, or just a hideout to rest, relax and enjoy the African wildlife and scenery that surrounds you. 

With all meals included, and a selection of different activities from game drives, bird watching, fishing, and spa to walking to see the ancient rock paintings done by the San. 

The swimming pool allows you to cool down after the heat of the day before watching the sunset and enjoying dinner in the boma. 

The River Lodge rooms offer a covered verandah with lovely views of the valley below, as well as an en-suite bathroom with an outdoor shower and twin basins. Luxurious bath towels and toiletries are provided, and the room is equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities, enjoy that coffee at dawn while watching the amazing birdlife that surrounds you.
