Along the edges of the river, Inyati lodge offers areas with bright, golden sunlight as well as shady spots for guests. The unusual birdlife and a wide variety of mammal, reptile and insect species are indigenous to this region of South Africa.
The reserve is home to eleven well-appointed Luxury Chalets. Each air-conditioned suite offers guests a relaxing lounge, en-suite bathrooms with twin hand basins, separate bath, shower and toilet.
The Inyati Lodge guest lounge and dining areas overlook the Sand River, which is the natural habitat of the elephant and hippo. The legendary Shangaan boma is used at night, where you can enjoy your evening with dinner while seated around the fire, under the stars.
Guests will learn about the grasses, trees, the birds as well as the smaller creatures like insects, beetles, arachnids and reptiles while taking part in their bush walks. The local Shangaan trackers at the Inyati Lodge have an intuitive and historical knowledge of the fauna and flora.

The lodge also has a walk-in wine cellar, which is stocked with over 2000 bottles of carefully selected wines and champagnes. There is a wide variety of South Africa's wines to choose from, to enjoy with your meal, or savour in your own time under the stars.
With its easy access by both road and air, this Lodge is the perfect venue for a successful and unforgettable conference getaway, team building or even a very intimate wedding. Tree Tops is a separate facility which is located about 2.8 kilometres from the main camp catering for informal conferences and team-building for up to 40 delegates and overlooks the Sand River. The basic conference equipment is offered including a flip chart, overhead projector, TV, video, notepad and pens. Team-building programs are available which encourage competition and teamwork.
