Set in an elevated position overlooking the Xudum River and its floodplains, Kanana Nyana blends contemporary elegance with the raw beauty of the Delta. Sweeping views extend across glistening waterways and endless plains, while natural timber arches and thatched structures create a seamless connection between camp and wilderness.

The name Kanana Nyana, derived from the Setswana word meaning “small”, perfectly reflects the camp’s intimate character. With only four suites and space for eight guests, privacy and exclusivity are at the heart of the experience.

Each of the four thatched suites has its own distinctive personality, inspired by the natural colours and textures of the surrounding landscape. Soft sage greens, muted yellows, dusty pinks and layered organic textures echo the ancient woodland, with design influences drawn from some of the Okavango’s iconic trees, including the Marula, Sausage, Ebony and Mokolwane Palm.
