Best time to travel

Kenya in East Africa is an ideal all year round safari destination. During November, April and May the Mara receive a lot of rainfall. From January to March and late June through to October, when it is dry, wildlife tends to congregate around permanent water sources. During the wet season, animals disperse across the regions and are harder to find in the bushveld.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 and 2: Travellers are met at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and are taken to the Wilson Airport for a 1hr 20min flight to Samburu. On arrival, guests will be transferred to Sasaab in time for lunch.

Accommodation: Sasaab Lodge

Day 3 and 4: From the Sasaab airstrip, it is a 20min private charter flight to Solio Lodge. Solio Lodge, in the north of Kenya, provides many exciting activities. The drives are during the early morning and late in the evening to witness animals at their busiest. Guests can book a bush lunch and head further into the Mara to find the wildlife in the most remote corners of the National Park.
