Kichwa Tembo has extensive savanna, and the wooded valleys meet in the route of the annual, breathtaking migrating wildebeest. Set along the Sabaringo Stream which is on the edge of the Oloololo mountain, this luxury tented camp in East Africa overlooks the plains of the Maasai Mara.
With its 13 Classic Tents, 21 Superior Tents & 9 Superior View Tents, complete seclusion, and teeming wildlife. With a total of 40 shelters that can accommodate up to 80 guests, travellers experience an authentic African stay in the dense vegetation that surrounds the Sabaringo River.

A once in a lifetime experience at Kichwa Tembo is the morning hot air balloon trips from which passengers can explore the vastness of the African continent from a bird's eye view. Among the mostly encountered wildlife are the elephants, hippos, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, black rhinos, crocodiles, hyenas, jackals, wildebeests, and zebras.
Kids of all ages are welcome at Kichwa Tembo Camp as a family-friendly camp; there are three Family Suites available while some of the Luxury Tents can accommodate a third person sharing under the age of 16 years.
Children who are 12 years or older may join the safari drives. Children between the ages of six and twelve may enter safari drives at the discretion of the lodge manager. Kids under the age of six cannot participate in safari drives. Babysitting can be arranged during the times of safari drives and during meal times.
The camp offers an interactive and exciting &beyond WILD Child Programme where kids explore new experiences and cultures. Upon arrival at the lodge, the children receive a WILD child activity bag which contains, amongst others, a logbook, crayons, pencils and a pawprint tattoo.
The guest areas at the camp are on split-level spaces inviting visitors to unwind and relax. The rim-flow, outdoor swimming pool, which is set on the edge of the Mara, provides welcoming refreshment and extraordinary views.
