The Kings Camp Timbavati lodge can be reached from Johannesburg in about six hours by car. Guests may either drive themselves or book a private chauffeur transfer.

The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve of the Greater Kruger National Park is home to the magnificent "Big Five" and offers a great wealth of biodiversity. Having access to more than 100 square meters of traversing rights, guests have ensured a most spectacular and memorable wildlife experience during the thrilling safari drives and the adventurous walking safaris. The safari drives take place twice a day, once early in the morning and once late in the afternoon & evening. During the morning safari drives, tea, coffee as well as biscuits. Refreshing drinks and canapes are served on the afternoon safari drives.
