This peaceful country estate features fourteen Double / Twin Chalets which accommodate two guests with a third person sharing on an extra single bed as well as spacious Family Cottages which consist of two bedrooms. The five Family Cottages offer the same amenities and features at the Chalets. Their kitchenettes are suitable for self-catering providing a stove, microwave oven, fridge, toaster as well as crockery and cutlery.
The cabins are well-appointed and feature convenient facilities to make for a most comfortable place for relaxation. Besides air conditioning, a television with DSTV bouquet, a digital safe and en-suite bathroom, the chalets provide a fully equipped kitchenette for self-catering. These include kitchen appliances as well as utensils. The cottages are complete with their private outdoor patio and braai facilities which lead out of the bedroom.
Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant offer indoor and outdoor dining venues overlooking the gardens of the state. The menu provides a selection of traditional dishes, and a children's menu is also available. Refreshing Sundowners may be enjoyed at the adjacent bar. The outdoor swimming pool makes for a fun leisure attraction during the warm afternoons.
The Komati River Estate offers beautiful paths which lead through the old indigenous tree forest ideal for leisurely river walks. Bird watching is an absolute paradise with over 500 recorded bird species in this area.
Besides the Tiger Fish, keen anglers may also catch the Mozambique Bream (Blue Kurper), the Red-breasted Bream, the Mudfish as well as the Catfish and carp.
