The Wielewaal Restcamp is in Marloth Park which is a scenic nature reserve bordering the Kruger National Park of South Africa. Located in the southern region of the Kruger Park area, this safari camp is only an hours drive away from Mozambique capital city of Maputo, and Swaziland lies just about 54 kilometres away from here.
Featuring only three rooms each of which offers en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, guests are ensured tranquillity and privacy during their stay. All of the three spacious and well-appointed rooms are near each other in a welcoming setting. Coffee and tea making facilities and a hospitality fridge are available in the chambers.
The camp offers guests relaxing lounges and dining areas where meals are served. The traditional African style Boma makes for an unforgettable experience during the evenings and nights when the sky is clear and full of stars. The outdoor splash pool, which nestles in a beautiful natural setting, offers a welcoming refreshment during the warm and sunny afternoons.
After the early morning safari drives or walks in the territory of the Big Five (lions, buffaloes, rhinos, leopards, elephants), a mouth-watering breakfast awaits guests back at the camp. The delicious dinners at the camp are served in the open dining room or in the Boma where guests enjoy fire crackling, the calming atmosphere of candles and the magical night sounds of the African bush.
Wielewaal visitors may drive or walk to the river to be able to encounter the Big 5. Enjoying a refreshing sundowner next to the Crocodile River in the peaceful, natural setting of the Marloth Conservatory makes for a unique bush experience. Wildlife viewing safaris are available on the thrilling 4x4 guided tours as well as quad bike drives. The unforgettable sunset drives in the Kruger National Park with a qualified guide are not to be missed.
Besides the wildlife viewing activities, lovely day trips can be made from here to both Swaziland and Maputo both of which are in proximity to the camp.
