The Kuro Tarangire is located in the central region of the wildlife-rich Tarangire National Park in Tanzania, East Africa. 

Tarangire National Park camp lies within close proximity to the main river as well as to the Silale and Gursi Swamps as well as to other excellent game areas. Set in a grove of acacia trees, guests enjoy an ideal location for wildlife viewing on the main game routes near the banks of the Tarangire River. 

Kuro Tarangire camp features six spacious thatched safari tents with verandahs offering a wonderful retreat from where to enjoy the magnificent surrounds of the untamed African bushveld. These thatched tents are complete with en-suite indoor and outdoor bucket showers and flush toilets. The family tent offers two en-suite bedrooms and an adjoining corridor which is zipped closed during the night.

Guests enjoy thrilling safari drives during the early mornings and the night in open 4 wheel drive safari vehicles as well as exciting walking safaris accompanied by professional rangers.

The Tarangire National Park is home to a large concentration of wildlife including herds of buffalo and elephant.

A great variety of plains game which includes zebra, giraffe, impala, and eland, amongst many others. The birdlife in this region of East Africa is bountiful, with over 550 species having been recorded here.
