Kusini Kopjes Kambi

Kusini Kopjes Kambi is located on an ancient hill in the southern region of the Serengeti in Tanzania, East Africa, its twelve tented suites include one honeymoon suite.

The kopjes in this region, which surround the camp, form a unique eco-system within themselves, which is home to a great variety of wildlife. Each area is connected to the next with naturally constructed wooden walkways as well as granite paths to blend in with the natural beauty of the surroundings.

With only twelve safari tents available, guests are ensured tranquillity and privacy during their safari stay at Kusini Kopjes Kambi. From each of these luxurious suites, guests may enjoy the breathtaking views over the vast plains of the Serengeti. Honeymooners are accommodated in the spacious and well-appointed honeymoon suite making for unforgettable memories.

Facilities

Kusini Kopjes Kambi safari camp features a total of 12 Luxury Tented Suites which includes the one honeymoon suite. This tented safari camp is permanently positioned at this location throughout the year. Freshwater supplies are accessible and solar energy is used for the camp.

Activities

Twice a day, guests have the opportunity to embark on exciting wildlife and bird watching safaris through the central Serengeti. The professional rangers accompany these safari drives in search of the 'big five' and many other animals which are home in this region of Tanzania. Hot air balloon safaris offer a different way of exploring the bushveld, from a bird's eye view. Passengers fly silently over the vast plains which teem with herds of wildlife in the early morning.

Dates for camp and migration

This camp is closed from 01 April - 31 May every year, with the migration months falling on the months from December to May and from July to August every year.

Camp dates:

  • High Season: 01 December - 31 May and 01 July - 31 August
  • Low Season: 01 June - 30 June and 01 September - 31 November
  • Closed: 01 April - 31 May.

Migration viewing:

  • December to May and July to August.
