Overlooking the Palala Valley in the Waterberg region of South Africa's Limpopo Province nestles the Leobo Private Reserve. Plains game, magnificent birdlife, hippos as well as a crocodile named Stevie, lodge prides itself to provide no time constraints, no rules (except safety) and no limits. 

Guests enjoy full access to the entire reserve, its estate, and all its facilities. Complete privacy and exclusivity while enjoying the fun and exciting activities is what this Private Reserve is all about.

An exclusive private house, is a three-suite retreat, catering to discerning travellers in search of relaxation, absolute privacy, and a whole lot of adventurous fun. A maximum of 9 guests can be accommodated in two luxury bedrooms as well as a triple bunk room which leads to a separate guest room. The Lodge sleeps a maximum of 18.

The Reserve has been established to provide great enjoyment for families whereby children have the opportunity to encounter wildlife close by and learn about the bushveld. Identity tracks of a giraffe, feel the velvety-soft leaves of the 'loo paper' tree, walk on a rock-hard ant hill and hold a lizard.

The Observatory was designed by the award-winning architects Lesley Carstens and Silvio Rech is an ideal getaway suitable for families with children as well as couples. Breathtaking views, state of the art facilities and the ultimate in luxury best describe this villa in the bushveld. Serviced by a maid, butler as well as a chef, guests enjoy a heated infinity swimming pool while a jacuzzi awaits on the roof. The automated Observatory is perfect for stargazing.

Leobo Lodge is booked on an exclusivity basis only meaning that during your stay, no other guests are present. This lodge can accommodate a total of 9 guests, made up of 6 adults and three children. Additional rooms for more guests, families or nannies are present which sleeps a maximum of 18 guests (14 adults and four children).

This bushveld getaway is the perfect destination for a special celebration, a long-awaited family reunion, a small executive getaway or incentivized trips for corporate travellers. With professional staff paying particular attention to every requirement and nature offering a splendid setting, this African bush venture will not be forgotten. This lodge is available for exclusive hire all year round.

This camp reflects a comfortable rustic feel with two open fireplaces and great space for relaxation, on two levels. The large dining room table can seat fourteen guests while the outside dining table with a large parasol offers outdoor dining at its best with beautiful views over the bush. Delicious dining can be enjoyed inside, on the outdoor deck which is complete with a sunken seating firepit or in the boma where diners around a fire under the stars.

The covered terrace with sofas offers several ideal places for sunbathing and relaxing during the warm afternoons. The swimming pool, which is carved into the side of a hill, offers welcoming refreshment.

The Lodge accommodates a total of 18 guests in beautiful chalets which provide scenic views over the reserve's valley. These well-appointed rooms can accommodate children. The camp's eight cottages are on the side of the escarpment.

Four chalets are equipped with king-size beds, two cabins with two single beds, one chalet with a four-poster double bed which sleeps one guest comfortably and one cottage with two bunk beds ideal for four children. Each of the rooms provides en-suite bathrooms which reflect warm copper features.

From the wooden deck outside, never-ending vistas towards the vast horizon can be admired. During the evenings and night, lanterns provide a cheerful glow to the wooden paths which lead up to the doors of the chalets.

Exciting activities are on offer for which guests are welcome to set the times. Safari drives through the reserve are conducted either on the Landrover or a quad bike, adding to the excitement of guests while enabling a close-up wildlife viewing experience.

Led by an experienced guide at whatever pace guests choose, one can admire giraffes, zebras, Cape buffaloes, hippos and an occasional leopard sighting. Furthermore, the reserve is home to large herds of buck including impala, wildebeest, kudu, eland, red hartebeest, blesbok, steenbok, gemsbok, tsessebe, and nyala.

Fishing is available in one of the dams where the hippos laze. For the more adventurous guest, the helicopter can be booked for an unforgettable flight over the hills and the surrounding valleys. Target shooting with sniper rifles is fun for competitive guests who enjoy group activities and team-building.
