Little Ruckomechi scenic location in Mana Pools Park on the mighty Zambezi River is perhaps one of the wildest parts of Africa. The river provides water activities such as fishing for Bream, catfish and the hard fighting tigerfish in Mana Pools. It is recommended to take a paddle on the river to see hippo and the multitude of birds such as eagles, Three-banded Courser, Green-capped Eremomela, African Golden Oriole, Lovebird, Bohm's Spinetail.
The Mana Pools area is known for is large herds of buffalo and elephant and high concentration of Leopard.
