This exclusive-use villa features four riverfront guest suites each of which offers King and Queen beds. The Lodge Twenty Three is a self-catering villa providing all the facilities and equipment necessary to prepare, cook and bake own meals. Included in the rate is access to a ’before arrival’ perishables shopping list. In the price are also tea, coffee, sugar and basic spices and ingredients included which are found in the private kitchen.

The 23 lodge features an African sun-worshipping rooftop deck and a wildlife viewing deck. Access to the Kruger National Park for exciting self-drive wildlife viewing is via the Paul Kruger Gate. The Kruger Park's gate opening times vary according to the season. It is here where the adventure of a memorable safari awaits. Home to the "Big Five" which include lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffaloes, the Kruger National Park of South Africa provides habitat for a great variety of wildlife.

Guests may enjoy self-drive wildlife viewing while guided Rhino Walks, as well as open-air vehicle safari drives, are also available. This region of South Africa is known for its warm, subtropical climate, and the riverine vegetation invites for fun walks around the property during which a variety of antelope and cheeky monkeys can be encountered.

Guests staying at this pristine bush retreat are immersed in the unique sounds of nature, with the occasional call of the fish eagle and the loud trumpeting of elephants echoing through the African bush.
