MolloThaba Game Lodge, previously known as Morokolo Game Lodge in the Pilanesberg, is in just eight luxuriously appointed double suites, each with a spacious en-suite bathroom that opens onto a small courtyard with outdoor shower in some rooms.

Two of the suites cater to families, with an upstairs loft-style sleeping area for two kids. Adjacent to Pilanesberg and only a 2 and bit hours drive away from Johannesburg. With excellent viewing of the Big 5 and fantastic facilities, Morokolo offers a convenient safari option for those who feel the need to heed the call of nature.

MolloThaba Game Lodge is distinguished by magnificent Thorntree forests filled with various antelope, predators, and large herbivores; such as elephant, buffalo, and rhino can be found.

The lodge accommodates a maximum of 18 adults and up to 10 children, although it is limited to 18 guests over the age of 3 years. The rooms are air-conditioned, have a small deck, a bar fridge and a tea & coffee station.

Services are centred on the fully air-conditioned entertainment building that incorporates an open plan lounge area, where one can view satellite TV or relax with a book. In the bar area, guests can enjoy board games or a game of pool. In the covered patio area is a 10-seater dining table.

Close by is the open-air boma where barbeques are enjoyed, and there is also a swimming pool and private jacuzzi area – all of which are ideal venues for a quenching sundowner.

Services include having the kitchen prepare you delicious packed lunch, luggage storage, child-minding service, laundry, and housekeeping. If you require a transfer, the lodge will happily arrange this for you for an extra fee.

This Lodge in the Black Rhino Reserve is an excellent venue for small meetings – due to the proximity to Gauteng and peaceful surroundings. The lodge has comfortable meeting facilities, offers access to fax, photocopying and will arrange special banquets on request.
