Accommodation

Nxamaseri Island Lodge accommodates up to eight guests in eight private chalets beneath the forest canopy. Each chalet is positioned on its own teak deck and opens to a seating area with a private deck, offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape. Bedrooms are designed for comfort, and thoughtful touches such as hot water bottles provide added warmth during cooler evenings. Safes are available in each room, with additional storage at reception for valuables.

The location offers a range of activities focused on the unique wetland environment of the Okavango Delta:

Mokoro Excursions – Glide silently through the channels in traditional dugout canoes, observing reeds, lily pads, and fish at eye level.

Cultural Excursions – The sacred Tsodilo Hills, located an hour from Nxamaseri Island Lodge, rise dramatically from the desert landscape. The hills are adorned with over 4000 ancient San paintings, offering insight into a fragile and historically significant culture.
