Porini Bush Camp, Ol Kinyei Conservancy, Masai Mara guests enjoy access to the Mara Reserve and the adjacent 50 000 acres Naboisho conservancy which are famous for their outstanding wildlife viewing. 

This camp in Kenya has been designed in the traditional mobile safari camp style. Featuring comfortable beds as well as en-suite bathrooms with showers, washbasins and flush toilets, solar and gas lamps provide lighting.

The thrilling safari drives in 4×4 safari vehicles are conducted within the Ol Kinyei Conservancy as well as in the adjacent Naboisho Conservancy and the Masai Mara National Reserve. Guests enjoy getting close to nature on educational bush walks with Maasai guides.

Bush breakfasts and sundowners are offered at most scenic locations in the wilderness. Set within the Serengeti-Mara eco-system, Ol Kinyei is home to an abundance of water sources which creates a habitat for a large variety of animals making for a fantastic wildlife viewing experience.

In the main tent, guests enjoy delicious meals which are prepared by an experienced chef. Ranging from a full breakfast with cereals, as well as fruit and a choice of eggs, visitors enjoy light salad lunches and a three-course meal for dinner. When the sun sets, the campfire offers a welcoming place for socialising and enjoying refreshments.

Safari itinerary for a three day / 2-night stay

  • Day 1: Depart from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport on the 10 am the flight to the Mara. Guests are met at the Mara Naboisho Ol Seki airstrip by Porini staff and transfer to camp. After lunch takes an afternoon safari drive, stopping at a scenic point for a sundowner. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
  • Day 2: Following an early breakfast, take a safari drive into the Maasai Mara National Reserve in search of the Big Five. Return to camp in the late afternoon, after a picnic lunch in the Reserve. Later, head out on an evening safari drive within Ol Kinyei Conservancy – stopping at a viewpoint for a sundowner. Continue on a night safari drive looking for nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at camp.
  • Day 3: Take an early morning walk in the Conservancy escorted by Maasai warriors and return for breakfast. Transfer to the airstrip and fly back to Nairobi (arriving around 12.15 pm).
